The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Trucks throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Cruz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trucks is just riding it out for now. Cruz eventually gives up the hold.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Cruz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Cruz is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Trucks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Trucks shrugs it off.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trucks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Trucks is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cruz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Trucks is looking to defend but Cruz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Trucks! Cruz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Trucks taps out and this one is all over!
