Davy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Clem Davy has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conors misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Conors dives in and scores a takedown into Davy's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Conors accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Davy is breathing heavily.

Davy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Conors defends well.
Conors connects with a couple of short punches.

It looks like Clem Davy has been cut.
Conors works over Davy with some ground and pound from guard.

Clem Davy's cut is getting worse.
Conors scoring with punches to the head and body.
Conors is looking to work some ground and pound but Davy has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Conors postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Davy covers up, he's hurt! Conors keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Conors and the ref steps in to end the fight! Conors can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
