Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Mallinder (ranked 4418 p4p, 4307 weight class) and Elijah Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elijah Anderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Mallinder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elijah Anderson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson drives through with a takedown into guard. Anderson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Anderson wants to control from the top but Mallinder keeps moving. Mallinder trying to keep a closed guard but Anderson is proving a slippery customer.
Anderson connects with a couple of short punches. Mallinder keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Anderson stops Mallinder from standing up. Mallinder wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson throws a strike but Mallinder rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Anderson is adopting a defensive guard. Anderson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Mallinder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there. Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Mallinder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson looking to sit in guard and control but Mallinder gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mallinder wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Anderson seems keen to control Mallinder's posture. Mallinder wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Mallinder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.

Mallinder avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mallinder is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mallinder manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Anderson manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson seems keen to control Mallinder's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mallinder preventing the sweep. Anderson pulls Mallinder in close to prevent any damage. Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mallinder is one step ahead there. Anderson trying to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mallinder stands up from Anderson's guard - Mallinder perhaps looking for a knockout. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Elijah Anderson will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Anderson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A momentary lapse in concentration from Mallinder enables Anderson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mallinder manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mallinder keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Mallinder throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mallinder is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. Anderson lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson with a nice head shot there. Anderson scoring with some ground and pound. Mallinder looking for a sweep. Not yet Mallinder, not yet. Anderson scoring with punches to the head and body.
Mallinder is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Oh Mallinder is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Anderson loads up on a big left hand. Mallinder felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Anderson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mallinder can't hide his disappointment, as Anderson celebrates the victory.
