Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Pawlikowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Goran Dragic! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pawlikowski just misses with a punch to the body.
A nice side step and Dragic releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Pawlikowski tries to clinch but Dragic moves out of range. Dragic looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Pawlikowski throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Dragic counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dragic drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pawlikowski dives on top into guard.
Dragic is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dragic working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pawlikowski. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dragic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pawlikowski is aware though and is defending well. Pawlikowski wanted to stand there but Dragic had control of the position. Pawlikowski gets to his feet - Dragic follows without any prompting. Pawlikowski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dragic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pawlikowski leaves Dragic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pawlikowski pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pawlikowski won't be happy with that. Pawlikowski throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters circle momentarily. Dragic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Pawlikowski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dragic paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pawlikowski is looking to clinch. A countering left hand to the body from Dragic misses. Pawlikowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dragic throws a fast counter high kick but Pawlikowski manages to duck under it in time. Dragic swats away the attempt to clinch by Pawlikowski. Dragic was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Pawlikowski swings for the body but Dragic moves out of range.
Pawlikowski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dragic throws a counter combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pawlikowski misses with a wild combination.
Dragic steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Dragic avoids the head kick by Pawlikowski.

Pawlikowski wants to clinch up but Dragic keeps it at a distance. Pawlikowski fails in his attempt to clinch. Pawlikowski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dragic is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Pawlikowski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dragic paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pawlikowski tries to clinch up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Pawlikowski dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Dragic with a poor takedown and Pawlikowski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pawlikowski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dragic keeps the fight on the outside. Dragic is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. A head kick misses from Pawlikowski. It seemed like Dragic was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Pawlikowski tries a head kick but it misses.
Dragic is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Pawlikowski is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dragic can do to turn this around? Pawlikowski has closed the distance and engaged Dragic in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pawlikowski postures up.
Pawlikowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dragic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pawlikowski has managed to get both his arms back between Dragic's legs - danger averted. Dragic looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Pawlikowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dragic is tightening it up a little... Pawlikowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pawlikowski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pawlikowski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dragic!
