The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankens looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vollan misses with a hook.
Jankens fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vollan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Jarizinho Jankens has been cut.
Vollan misses with an uppercut.
Vollan stuffs the takedown attempt from Jankens. Jankens gets slowly back to his feet.
Jankens has been working on his boxing with his coaches at All Elite Training in the buildup to the fight.

Jankens dives in for a single leg takedown but Vollan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Vollan pushes Jankens back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Vollan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jankens backwards.

Vollan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jankens avoids the body shot from Vollan.
It looked like Jankens wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Jankens on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jankens throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vollan's waist but Vollan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jankens off to one side.
Jarizinho Jankens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vollan throws out a loose jab but Jankens uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Jankens counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vollan won't be happy with that.
Vollan is looking to reverse the position.
Vollan trying to control but Jankens flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jankens trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Vollan rolls, trying to escape but Jankens keeps control of the position.

You can see the frustration on Vollan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Jankens is not going to allow Vollan to sit and survive in this position.

Jankens is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Vollan is defending well though. Jankens let's go of the attempt for now.
Vollan controlling his opponent's hands, preventing the submission attempt.

Jankens wants to control the position but Vollan says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Well, if Vollan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jankens takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jankens takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jankens shoots in for a double leg but Vollan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jankens misses with a body shot.
Vollan is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Vollan cracks Jankens with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jankens looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vollan finish him?

Jankens is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jankens keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vollan.
Jankens drops his hands for a split second and Vollan immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Jankens face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Vollan follows up with a right hand that knocks Jankens into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
