And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy The Show!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Show will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The Show lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Grubbs looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Grubbs avoids a wild elbow strike from The Show.
The Show lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The Show lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Grubbs backwards.
The Show lands an elbow just above Grubbs 's eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Show throws a punch but it's blocked by Grubbs.
The Show misses with a shot to the kidneys.

The Show escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The Show closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Grubbs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and The Show takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The Show throws a good cross that connects.
Grubbs swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A countering left hand to the body from The Show misses.
The Show throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grubbs sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Grubbs misses with a wild body shot.

The Show gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The Show tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The Show fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Nice body punch from The Show.
The Show struggles to land a body shot inside as Grubbs controls his hands.
The Show lands a nice shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Show misses with a punch to the body.
The Show content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The Show breaks from the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Grubbs walks into a jab.

Grubbs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by The Show.

The Show tries to work over Grubbs's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Still in the clinch, The Show scores with a nice short uppercut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, The Show just misses with a elbow thrown towards Grubbs's brow.
The Show digs a right hand into Grubbs's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Grubbs's gas tank.
Grubbs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The Show lands an elbow inside.
The Show tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Grubbs's elbow.

Grubbs breaks from the clinch.
Grubbs scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Grubbs takes a swing at The Show's ribcage but misses.
Randy The Show seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The Show gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The Show lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Grubbs backwards.
The Show misses with some punches.

The Show throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oh Grubbs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Show unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Grubbs! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but The Show is unloading with more strikes now! Grubbs drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy The Show!
A less than humble Randy The Show misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
