Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Caio Peieira (ranked 713 p4p, 1061 weight class) and New Breed One (ranked 41 p4p, 56 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caio Peieira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, New Breed One! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Peieira misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peieira is looking to chop away at One's legs. One closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. One lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Peieira fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
One managing to block the knees to the body from Peieira.

Peieira tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. One just stands there and leans against the cage. Peieira wants to stall.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. One trying to control the position but instead, Peieira has worked for underhooks and has pushed One into the cage. Peieira tries to pull guard but One holds him up against the cage and eventually Peieira drops back down to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peieira pulls guard successfully.

One wants to control from the top but Peieira keeps moving. Peieira is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. One is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peieira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and One defends well. Hammerfist, elbow! yells One's corner. There ya go! There ya go! One avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
One preventing the sweep. One is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Peieira is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. One is doing well to control the position and prevent Peieira from advancing to side control. One has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Peieira is working away from the top position though. Peieira is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One is pressing down on Peieira's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. One looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Peieira looking to pass the guard. Peieira wants to control from the top but One keeps moving. One throws his legs up looking for a submission but Peieira uses it to pass to side control.
Peieira is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but One is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. One manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Peieira is trying to get back to full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
New Breed One dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! One uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peieira. A nice side step and One releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. One uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Peieira. Peieira looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. One tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Peieira paws at him with a jab and circles away. Peieira feinted with a counter takedown. One tries to clinch there but Peieira circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Peieira. One does a little dance to reset his feet. One tries to close the distance and clinch but Peieira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - One looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Caio Peieira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. One stuffs the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peieira catches One with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! One tries to close the distance and clinch but Peieira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. One gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Peieira tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. One just stands there and leans against the cage. Peieira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A jab from Peieira does it's job there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peieira throws a low kick but One moves out of range easily. Peieira slips under a jab. Peieira pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. One is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Peieira pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Peieira circles away from the clinch attempt.
Peieira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but One moves away. Peieira throws a predictable looking body shot
and One counters by moving into the clinch. One is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Peieira throws a punch but it's blocked by One. Peieira just leaning against One, taking a breather. Peieira successfully pulls guard.
Peieira is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Peieira is looking for a triangle but One pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One trying to control the position from guard on top but Peieira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. New Breed One has got the better of the ground game so far. One stands up over Peieira, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. One trying to control but Peieira is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. One might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Peieira haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. One drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and One jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Peieira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. One gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. One lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Peieira is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peieira controls One momentarily but One frees himself. One passes Peieira's right leg, so he's now in half guard. One scoring with strikes to the body and head. One has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Peieira is in all sorts of trouble here.
One manages to capitalize on a mistake by Peieira to take his back! One has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Peieira has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
One is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Peieira knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Peieira for a finish. Peieira tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Peieira! Can he survive? No! He's out! One gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). New Breed One! New Breed One decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
