Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Draven (ranked 1309 p4p, 1650 weight class) and Anders Hansson (ranked 145 p4p, 179 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 17 - 2, fighting out of London, Eric Draven! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anders Hansson! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansson moves in looking to clinch but Draven pushes him off. Draven throws a quick counter head kick but Hansson was just out of range. Hansson tries for a takedown but Draven circles away easily and Draven counters by clinching up. Draven tries to circle away but Hansson has him pinned against the cage. Draven controlling the action here for a moment.
Draven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hansson. As Hansson tries to get set, Draven tries to push him back and clinch up but Hansson manages to avoid the attempt. Anders Hansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hansson looks for a takedown but Draven sprawls well. Eric Draven has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anders Hansson. Draven gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hansson tries for a takedown but Draven sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Draven wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Draven tries to clinch up but Hansson circles away and keeps his distance. Hansson shoots in and drives through. Draven sprawls well. Draven fires out a quick counter leg kick but Hansson just manages to avoid it. Hansson gets a clinch. Draven effectively controlling the action here. Draven lands an elbow inside that Hansson shrugs off. Hansson jumps guard but Draven stands there with Hansson around his waist. Hansson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hansson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Hansson shoots in for a takedown but Draven shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hansson looks for the body kick but Draven saw that one coming. Draven closes the distance and clinches. Hansson being controlled against the cage. Draven effectively controlling the action here. Draven holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Hansson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Draven slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draven wants to control from the top but Hansson keeps moving. Draven seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hansson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Draven controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Draven's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Draven has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hansson looking for a sweep. Not yet Hansson, not yet. Draven not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Draven continues to stall.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Hansson fails with the takedown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Draven swats away the attempt to clinch by Hansson. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Draven dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Draven moves out of range of the leg kick from Hansson. Hansson gets a takedown into half guard. Hansson wants to pass the guard but Draven is defending well. Well, if Hansson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hansson trying to control the action but Draven is working from the bottom. Draven is concentrating on defense, preventing Hansson from advancing position. Hansson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hansson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hansson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Draven does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Anders Hansson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hansson misses with a takedown and Draven makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Eric Draven is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Draven stuffs the takedown. Draven throws a leg kick but Hansson moved away. Hansson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Draven. Hansson moves into the clinch. Draven lands an elbow inside. Draven is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hansson can do to turn this around? Hansson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hansson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Draven's guard. Draven is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hansson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Hansson goes for a takedown attempt but Draven pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hansson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Draven.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eric Draven will probably get the nod. That's time! Draven's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Draven keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hansson blocks the body kick.
Hansson shoots in looking for a takedown but Draven manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hansson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Draven throws a one two combo.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Draven wants it to stay on the feet. Draven seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Draven throws a head kick that misses and Hansson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Draven misses with a head kick.

Draven swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Hansson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. It looked like Draven wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Draven tries to sprawl but Hansson drives through with a takedown into half guard. Draven wants to get back to his feet.

Draven kicks Hansson off and gets back to his feet. Hansson fails in his attempt to clinch. Draven tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hansson manages to circle out of the way. Hansson shoots in but no luck this time. Draven tries a head kick but it misses.
Draven plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hansson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Draven defends it nicely.

Draven throws a leg kick so Hansson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Eric Draven is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Draven has control of Hansson's left arm, preventing Hansson from doing any damage. Hansson tries to stand but Draven is controlling from the bottom. Draven wants to stand but Hansson is controlling the position. Anders Hansson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Draven kicks Hansson off and gets to his feet. Crunch! Draven slams his shin into Hansson's torso. Hansson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Draven lands with a shot to the body. Hansson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hansson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Draven but Draven pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hansson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hansson tries a head kick but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Draven showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Draven, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
