Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between San Chhay (ranked 5653 p4p, 3358 weight class) and Kou Ueda (ranked 187 p4p, 119 weight class). Kou Ueda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, San Chhay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kou Ueda! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ueda throws out a leg kick but Chhay moves out of range and Ueda only half commits. Ueda gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Chhay circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ueda misses with a head kick.
Ueda is looking to clinch but Chhay is avoiding it.
Ueda darts in trying to clinch and Chhay counters with a nice uppercut. Chhay gets tackled into the cage by Ueda. Ueda maintains the clinch. Chhay trying to control the position but instead, Ueda has worked for underhooks and has pushed Chhay into the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Maybe Chhay would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Ueda breaks the clinch.
Chhay works the jab nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ueda fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chhay, pushing him back against the cage. Chhay lands on the inside with an uppercut. Ueda misses with a body punch.
Chhay definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Chhay being controlled against the cage. Ueda can't get the takedown.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chhay. Chhay lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ueda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chhay lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Chhay drops Ueda with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ueda looks back up at him and smiles so Chhay waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Kou Ueda has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ueda is aggressively charging in as Chhay backs up avoiding any damage. Chhay tosses out a jab and Ueda runs right into it face first! Ueda is out cold! Chhay dropped down on all fours and is barking in Ueda's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). San Chhay! San Chhay seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
