Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Muin Mntuit (ranked 4488 p4p, 25280 weight class) and Michael Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 654 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michael Brooks was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Muin Mntuit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mntuit scores with a crisp jab that stopped Brooks in his tracks.
A slow jab from Mntuit misses its intended target.
Mntuit feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brooks sprawling to the canvas! Brooks rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mntuit finish him?!
It looks like Michael Brooks has been cut.
Mntuit swings away with a body shot that misses
and Brooks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mntuit throws a sloppy body shot
and Brooks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mntuit lands a nice looking body shot.
Brooks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brooks. Mntuit does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mntuit comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mntuit is looking to clinch.
Mntuit closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Brooks counter with a right hand.
Mntuit pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mntuit wants to clinch but Brooks slips to the side
and Brooks counters with a stiff right hand.
Mntuit misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Brooks counters with a straight right hand.
Mntuit drops Brooks with a beautiful combination! Brooks stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mntuit is looking for the KO!
Brooks is rocked!
Mntuit lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Brooks is looking to close the distance but Mntuit sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Brooks crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Brooks is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Muin Mntuit!
After winning the bout, Muin Mntuit thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
