Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doan tries to clinch but Borne moves out of range.
Doan moves into the clinch.
Borne trying to control the position but instead, Doan has worked for underhooks and has pushed Borne into the cage.
Doan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Borne blocks it with crossed arms.

Doan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Borne is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Borne and Doan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Doan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Borne gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Doan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Borne slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Borne preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Borne has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Doan has passed into side control.

Doan decides to stand back up. Doan steps back and let's Borne get back to his feet.

Doan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Borne looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Borne tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Doan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Borne is looking to improve his position but Doan isn't that keen on the idea.
Doan lands a big shot there that rocks Borne but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Doan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Borne tries to lock up and control but Doan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

James Doan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
