Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Jones (ranked 4590 p4p, 3025 weight class) and Kane Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eric Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kane Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones wants to stand up but Lewis is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Lewis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is looking to stand up but Lewis isn't so interested in that idea.
Lewis drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Lewis off! Lewis jumps back into Jones's guard.
Lewis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jones, up you get!

Jones gets caught flat footed, as Lewis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lewis manages to pass to side control.
Lewis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Jones is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Lewis seems content to control.
Lewis is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lewis on the ground.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
Jones wants to stand back up but Lewis manages to pass into side control.
Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lewis asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Jones is not content to let Lewis control the position.
Lewis in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Lewis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
Lewis works to advance to full mount. Jones defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lewis looking to control and managing it successfully.
Lewis with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jones wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Lewis is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lewis looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jones has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kane Lewis dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones wants to clinch.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Lewis goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lewis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lewis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Lewis is now in Jones's guard.
Jones is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lewis dives into side control.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet here but Lewis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jones's back.
What can Jones do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Lewis has his arm under Jones's chin here. Game over son! Lewis squeezes tightly and Jones is forced to tap out!
