Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wilmerr Fudd (ranked 1527 p4p, 853 weight class) and John C Reilly (ranked 206 p4p, 116 weight class). Reilly has chosen John C. Reilly Funniest Moments as his entrance music. John C Reilly will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wilmerr Fudd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, John C Reilly! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reilly sizes up Fudd with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Wilmerr Fudd has been cut. Fudd ducks right into an uppercut from Reilly.
Fudd is rocked! The fighters circling - Reilly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Oh Fudd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Reilly throws an off balance right hand
and Fudd counters with a one-two to the body. Fudd seems to have got his legs back now. John C Reilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reilly misses with a leg kick and Fudd counters with a shoot takedown. Reilly fights it but they end up in guard. Reilly wants to sweep but no luck. Fudd being controlled here momentarily. Fudd throws a big right hand that misses. Fudd throwing strikes from guard but Reilly blocks nicely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reilly pulls Fudd in close to his closed guard and prevents Fudd from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fudd preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fudd's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Reilly has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fudd trying to control but Reilly is working from the bottom. Reilly looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reilly pulls Fudd in close to prevent any damage. Fudd is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Fudd throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Fudd is in close to Reilly's body, working some short punches and elbows. Reilly has his foot on Fudd's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fudd works his way back into a safe position though. Fudd won't allow Reilly to sweep him here. Reilly keeping moving, preventing Fudd from controlling successfully. Fudd won't allow Reilly to sweep him here. Fudd looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Fudd might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reilly looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fudd accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Reilly has his hands on Fudd's head, controlling the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fudd throws a big right hand that misses. Reilly is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Fudd wants to pass the guard but Reilly is keeping the position. Fudd scoring with some ground and pound. Reilly had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fudd defends it easily. Reilly wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reilly is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fudd can't keep his opponent in guard - Reilly advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reilly in particular looking to stall. Fudd gets back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fudd is on top in guard.
Fudd tries to free his leg and advance position but Reilly is retaining full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Reilly holds on and takes a little breather. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Reilly cracks a nice hook into Fudd's ribs. A looping hook to the body misses from Reilly. Fudd does a little dance to reset his feet. A big left from Reilly misses. Fudd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fudd feints and as Reilly raises his hands in defense, Fudd changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Reilly controlling the position. Fudd makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fudd landing some decent shots from guard. Reilly is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Nice body punch from Reilly. Wilmerr Fudd is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reilly connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Reilly throws out a loose jab but Fudd uses good head movement to avoid it. John C Reilly seems to be getting the better of the standup. Reilly takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Reilly is looking for a sweep. Reilly can't do much from the bottom here. Fudd tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Reilly controls the position for a moment. Check out the look on Fudd's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

It looks like John C Reilly has been cut. Fudd looks up at the clock and then as Reilly takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fudd smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fudd is looking to take a break and control but Reilly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Reilly is trying to control Fudd's posture but Fudd avoids it. Fudd throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Reilly is not content to let Fudd control the position. Reilly tries to get back to half guard but can't. Reilly wants to control but Fudd postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reilly manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Fudd is thwarting Reilly's attempts to control the position. Reilly wants to get back to full guard. Fudd scoring with strikes to the body and head. Fudd thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Reilly's head. Reilly wants to get back to full guard. Reilly gets full guard. Fudd throwing strikes but missing. Fudd trying to control the position from guard on top but Reilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reilly managing to control the position. Reilly trying to keep a closed guard but Fudd is proving a slippery customer.

Reilly rushes Fudd and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fudd prevents a body shot from Reilly.
And that's the end of the fight! John C Reilly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fudd has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
