Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, No Way!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Middle Finger!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Way lands a jab.
It looks like Middle Finger has been cut.
Way swings widly with a right hand
enabling Finger to counter with a crisp jab.
Way will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Finger looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Way misses with a body shot.
Way moves into range and clinches up with Finger.
Finger keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Way's efforts to push away.
Way wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Finger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Way is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Way feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fingers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Way throws a left and a right that both miss
and Finger counters with a crisp one two that drops Way! Finger thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Way to his feet! Way is in big trouble!
Way is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Way looks up at the clock. Bad move! Finger lands a right hand from hell, dropping Way. Finger pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Middle Finger!
Our winner, Middle Finger, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
