This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 12 losses; Andy Bangsit! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 10 losses; Carl Moore! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Moore shoots in but no luck this time. Bangsit attempts a counter takedown but Moore avoids it well and moves away. Moore moves into range and clinches up with Bangsit. Bangsit has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Moore uses from the top position. Bangsit seems keen to control Moore's posture. Bangsit looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Moore got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bangsit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moore has managed to get both his arms back between Bangsit's legs - danger averted. Bangsit trying to keep a closed guard but Moore is proving a slippery customer.

Bangsit has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Moore swings around for an armbar but Bangsit sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Moore's guard. Moore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moore is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bangsit pushes down on Moore's leg and manages to get into half guard. Moore desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Bangsit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Moore is just riding it out for now. Bangsit eventually gives up the hold.

Bangsit tries to free his leg and advance position but Moore is retaining full guard. Bangsit slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Moore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bangsit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bangsit manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Moore wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bangsit is now in half guard. Bangsit tries to pass to full mount but Moore defends it. Moore actively working from the bottom here. Bangsit seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Bangsit is trying to control the action in half guard but Moore is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
