And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Clerk Maxwell!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzina moves forwards but Clerk Maxwell connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A cross from Clerk Maxwell lands.
Berzina moves into the clinch successfully.
Berzina is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Clerk Maxwell gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Clerk Maxwell lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Berzina or not.
Berzina breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Berzina shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Clerk Maxwell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Berzina's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Clerk Maxwell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Berzina scrambles back to his feet.
Berzina is rocked!
Berzina glances at the clock... BAM! Clerk Maxwell nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Berzina crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Berzina is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Clerk Maxwell!
