Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bantam Rooster (ranked 5370 p4p, 5994 weight class) and Ari Katajamaki (ranked 278 p4p, 303 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ari Katajamaki!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katajamaki misses with a takedown
and Rooster counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Rooster tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rooster takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Katajamaki cracks Rooster with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Katajamaki immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Rooster is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Katajamaki!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ari Katajamaki!
