The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Serra closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boyd 's guard.
Serra pushes down on Boyd 's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Serra is trying to control the action in half guard but Boyd is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Serra tries to stand but can't do so whilst Boyd controls his leg.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
