Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denny Boyd (ranked 3028 p4p, 3660 weight class) and Jack Serra (ranked 391 p4p, 466 weight class). Jack Serra will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Denny Boyd ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Serra! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Serra closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boyd 's guard. Serra pushes down on Boyd 's leg and manages to get into half guard. Boyd trying to control from the bottom.
Serra is trying to control the action in half guard but Boyd is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Serra tries to stand but can't do so whilst Boyd controls his leg. Serra not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Serra thows a huge punch but Boyd dodges it nicely.
Serra is looking to take a break and control but Boyd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serra looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Boyd is staying active underneath Serra, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Serra throwing shots but Boyd is blocking nicely. Serra thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Boyd is looking to improve his position.
Boyd on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boyd tries to get out of the position. Serra seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Boyd is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
