Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logen Ninefingers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graf Orlak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Logen Ninefingers! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Graf Orlak! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ninefingers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Orlak swivels and escapes. Orlak shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Orlak showed some decent athleticism there. Orlak blocks the strikes from Ninefingers.
Ninefingers is trying to maintain the position but Orlak is very close to passing his half guard. Ninefingers tries to roll over but Orlak keeps him under control. Orlak takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Orlak wants to control but Ninefingers is keeping him busy. The fighters are battling for position here. Ninefingers manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ninefingers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Orlak's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orlak looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ninefingers is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Orlak looking to control.
Ninefingers throws and elbow that misses. Orlak uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ninefingers's guard. Nice move by Orlak! Ninefingers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Well, if Ninefingers is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Ninefingers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Orlak's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Orlak is refusing to be controlled, as Ninefingers sits in half guard. Ninefingers tries to pass to full mount but Orlak defends it. Ninefingers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ninefingers throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ninefingers is trying to work for a kimura but Orlak is defending well.
Ninefingers lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Orlak makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Orlak.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orlak can't keep his opponent in guard - Ninefingers advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Orlak is trying to maintain the position but Ninefingers is very close to passing his half guard. Ninefingers wants to take a breather but Orlak is having none of it. Ninefingers prevents Orlak from improving his position. Ninefingers throwing shots but Orlak is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ninefingers is working for a kimura but Orlak is defending it quite comfortably.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Orlak fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Orlak lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ninefingers backs up against the cage.
Orlak looks gassed! Ninefingers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A close round but Graf Orlak will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Orlak tries to clinch there but Ninefingers circles away.
Orlak throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ninefingers throws a combination that misses and Orlak connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Orlak misses with a looping right. A nice inside leg kick there by Orlak. That's going to slow Ninefingers down. Orlak's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Orlak duly obliges.
It looks like Logen Ninefingers has been cut. Orlak throws a looping overhand right but Ninefingers ducks down to avoid it. Orlak fails with the takedown. Ninefingers looks for a takedown but Orlak sprawls well. Graf Orlak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orlak throws a series of strikes that have Ninefingers backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ninefingers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ninefingers wants to control but Orlak is keeping him busy. Orlak on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ninefingers thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Orlak to regain full guard.

Ninefingers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ninefingers trying to control the position from guard on top but Orlak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ninefingers doesn't succeed with the takedown and Orlak counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ninefingers's guard now. Orlak won't allow Ninefingers to sweep him here. Ninefingers keeping moving, preventing Orlak from controlling successfully. Ninefingers working for a triangle but Orlak defends it easily.
Ninefingers has his foot on Orlak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Orlak works his way back into a safe position though.

Ninefingers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ninefingers wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Orlak swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Orlak scores with a decent looking hook. Orlak walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ninefingers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Ninefingers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ninefingers lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Orlak parries the strikes from Ninefingers easily there. Ninefingers is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Orlak to escape.
Orlak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ninefingers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ninefingers throwing shots but missing, from side control. Ninefingers misses with the ground and pound. Orlak wants to control but Ninefingers postures up. Ninefingers just content to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ninefingers looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
