Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronan Byrne!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guile waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Byrne.
Guile throws a body shot but no joy.
Guile misses with a straight right.
Byrne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Byrne wants it to stay on the feet.
Byrne uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Guile.
Byrne shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guile napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Guile could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guile manages to work his way to half guard, despite Byrne's best efforts.
Byrne is thwarting Guile's attempts to control the position.
Byrne working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Byrne slips a nice elbow through Guile's hands, connecting with Guile's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
