This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 6 losses; Joe Tidd! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 5 losses; Aleksander Kazimierz! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kazimierz takes the fight into the clinch. Kazimierz jumps guard and drags Tidd to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Kazimierz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tidd is aware though and is defending well. Kazimierz can't keep his opponent in guard - Tidd advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tidd uses his free foot to push down on Kazimierz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kazimierz. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Kazimierz reaches up to try and control the position but Tidd seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Kazimierz rolls and tries to escape and now Tidd has his back!

Tidd is working for a rear naked choke. Kazimierz is not defending it well and Tidd has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Kazimierz refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Kazimierz's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
