Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ike Wellstone (ranked 1140 p4p, 2131 weight class) and Cyborg Reyes (ranked 152 p4p, 286 weight class). Cyborg Reyes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wellstone ducks under a wild hook from Reyes.
Reyes throws a lazy uppercut
and Wellstone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Cyborg Reyes has been cut.
Cyborg Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reyes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Reyes engages and cracks Wellstone with a massive lead left hook - Wellstone tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Reyes is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
