The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nettles clinches up with Hughes and pushes him back against the cage.
Nettles lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hughes backwards.
Nettles tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hughes's elbow.
Nettles throws a head punch that misses.
Nettles misses with a punch to the body.
Hughes pulls Nettles into guard.
Hughes is looking to cinch up a triangle. Nettles throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hughes's body to avoid the submission. Hughes has instead reached around Nettles's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hughes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
