Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fobbs plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Travis Poirer has been cut.
Fobbs clinches.
Fobbs lands with a short shot to the head.
Fobbs prevents Poirer from breaking the clinch.
Poirer is trying to break free.

A solid body kick from Fobbs.
Poirer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Poirer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fobbs - the referee stops the clock and Poirer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fobbs. Poirer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fobbs avoids the head kick by Poirer.
Nice uppercut there from Fobbs.
Poirer steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fobbs. That one must have hurt.
Poirer looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fobbs stuns Poirer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fobbs closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fobbs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Left hook, right uppercut from Fobbs.
Fobbs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fobbs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fobbs sends Poirer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fobbs is motioning to the referee to let Poirer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Poirer is rocked!
Fobbs lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Poirer falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Wiki Fobbs!
