Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kid James!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miettinen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Miettinen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
James is looking to clinch but Miettinen is avoiding it.
James gets cracked there but stands up to it.
James gets tackled into the cage by Miettinen. Miettinen maintains the clinch.

Miettinen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miettinen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Miettinen is looking to cinch up a triangle. James throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Miettinen's body to avoid the submission. Miettinen has instead reached around James's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Miettinen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
