PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yu Zemin (ranked 4762 p4p, 4761 weight class) and Guo Meng (ranked 168 p4p, 169 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yu Zemin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Guo Meng!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Meng changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zemin tries to avoid it but Meng manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zemin to the ground. Zemin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zemin feinted with a counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zemin shoots in for a takedown but Meng shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Meng is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Yu Zemin showed his dominance in that final round.
