Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ge Force!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Force.
Force's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ross under the eye.
Ross drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Good exchange - Force coming out on top.

Force tries to sprawl but Ross drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Ross is trying to control the action in half guard but Force is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Force can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ross seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ross tries to pass the half guard into mount. Force knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Force is looking to escape.
Ross passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Force!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ross jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Force manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Force is not content to let Ross control the position.
Force really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ross. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ross is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Force has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ross advances to full mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ross sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Ross trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Ross working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Force looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Ross! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Rick Ross!
