Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Torkel Bystrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Munson!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bystrom closes the distance but Munson moves to the side
and Munson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bystrom takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Munson clobbers Bystrom with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Munson throws a sloppy head kick and Bystrom moves out of range easily.
Bystrom scores with a hook.
It looks like Robert Munson has been cut.
Munson defending well as Bystrom loads up on a big left hand.
Munson is looking for the big counter here.
Bystrom lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and Bystrom counters with a slapping leg kick.
Bystrom has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Munson throws a head kick but Bystrom moves out of range.
It looked like Bystrom wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Munson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Munson tries a head kick but it misses.
Bystrom has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Munson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bystrom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Munson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bystrom throws out a loose jab but Munson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bystrom has taken the fight to the clinch.
Munson tries to break the clinch but Bystrom is controlling the position.

Munson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bystrom has him pressed against the cage.
Bystrom tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Munson avoids it.
Bystrom is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Munson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Munson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bystrom up against the cage.
Bystrom is pushing Munson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Bystrom tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Munson avoids it.
Bystrom tries to pull guard but Munson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bystrom's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Munson tries to circle away but Bystrom has him pinned against the cage.

Bystrom misses with a hook to the ribs.
Munson is trying to stall.
Munson wants to break free but Bystrom has control.
Munson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Bystrom stalling.
Bystrom creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Munson's defenses.
Munson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bystrom walks away with a smile on his face. Munson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A clash of legs there as Munson blocks the low kick.
Bystrom pushes Munson up against the cage in a clinch.
Munson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

and Munson counters with a three punch combo that has Bystrom backing up. Bystrom nods at Munson to acknowledge the strikes.

Bystrom has closed the distance and engaged Munson in a clinch.
Bystrom is struggling to control the position.
Munson breaks from the clinch.
Bystrom moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bystrom keeps the fight on the outside.
Bystrom throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Munson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bystrom gets tackled into the cage by Munson. Munson maintains the clinch.
Bystrom has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Munson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Torkel Bystrom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bystrom tries to land a knee to the head but Munson blocks with his arms.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Munson stuns Bystrom with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Munson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Munson.
Bystrom is rocked!
Munson drops Bystrom with a straight right hand, right on the button! Munson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
