PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Rees Mogg (ranked 621 p4p, 825 weight class) and Jami Jarr (ranked 95 p4p, 135 weight class). Jarr has chosen Wahhabi I as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jarr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rees Mogg manages to avoid it.

Jarr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jami Jarr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jarr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little feinted left hand from Rees Mogg on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Rees Mogg looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jarr just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rees Mogg's brow.

Jarr working the clinch nicely. Rees Mogg is working for position but Jarr cracks him with a big knee to the head! Rees Mogg crumples up against the cage and Jarr lands two more shots before the ref can save Rees Mogg! This one is all over!
