Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Konichiwa Jempsa!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jempsa shoots in and drives through. Barnes sprawls well.
A counter left hand to the body from Barnes misses its target.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jempsa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Barnes looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Jempsa might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Barnes slaps away a takedown attempt from Jempsa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Barnes tried to counter with a leg kick but Jempsa avoided it.
Jempsa goes for a double leg but Barnes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Barnes continues to drive forward.

Andrew Barnes decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
