Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mono Loco (ranked 1742 p4p, 2849 weight class) and Braylin Timmon (ranked 189 p4p, 297 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mono Loco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 15 - 3, fighting out of London, Braylin Timmon! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loco fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Loco closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Timmon to the mat! Timmon manages to get full guard. Timmon is looking to stand up but Loco isn't so interested in that idea. Loco sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Timmon has his feet on Loco's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Timmon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timmon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Timmon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Timmon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Loco is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Timmon content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Loco looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Loco tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Timmon smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mono Loco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Timmon scores with a push kick. Timmon closes the distance and clinches. Timmon has Loco pushed against the cage. Loco tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loco fails to pull guard.
Loco drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Timmon gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Timmon with a jab. Timmon throws a nice looking combination but Loco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Loco closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Timmon did well to prevent Loco getting side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loco is trying to control the action in half guard but Timmon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Loco stops Timmon from getting back to his feet.
Loco slows the pace down in half guard. Loco seems to be working for a kimura but Timmon defends the submission attempt. Loco is looking for a kimura but Timmon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Loco to get the leverage. Timmon wants to stand back up but Loco manages to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Loco goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Timmon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Loco but great work by Timmon. Loco tries to improve position but can't. Timmon stands up. Timmon lands a head shot. Loco misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Timmon throws a one two combo.
Loco shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Timmon sprawls well. Timmon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Loco gets slowly back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Braylin Timmon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Timmon scores with a decent looking hook. Timmon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mono Loco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Timmon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Loco circles away quickly and effectively. Loco shoots in but Timmon avoids the takedown attempt easily. Timmon moves into the clinch successfully.
Loco tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Timmon just stands there and leans against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Timmon leaning against his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round. Loco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Timmon throws a series of punches but Loco moves out of range. Loco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Timmon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Loco somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mono Loco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Timmon connects with a looping right hand.

Timmon sprawls well initially but Loco persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loco is keen to just control but Timmon is a slippery customer. Loco seems to be working for a kimura but Timmon defends the submission attempt. Timmon is not content to let Loco control the position. Braylin Timmon has got the better of the ground game so far. Timmon is trying to stand back up but Loco is controlling him

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horrible takedown attempt by Loco or perhaps it was just good defense by Timmon, which made it look bad. Timmon throws a lazy head kick and Loco counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Loco. Loco trying to control the position from guard on top but Timmon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Loco prevents Timmon from getting back to his feet. Loco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loco controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Loco prevents Timmon from getting back to his feet. Timmon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Timmon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Loco shoots in looking for a takedown but Timmon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Loco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Timmon lands a front kick. Timmon throws a right hand that Loco ducks under and follows up with a left that Loco also avoids with ease. Loco appears to be looking for a counter takedown. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Braylin Timmon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round! Timmon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Timmon. Timmon tries to clinch but Loco moves out of range. Loco darts in looking for a takedown but Timmon gets double underhooks and turns Loco into the cage. Loco has Timmon pressed against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Braylin Timmon. Loco gets a double leg takedown into Timmon's guard. Timmon wriggles free and stands up. Timmon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Loco takes one to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Timmon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Loco drops down looking for a counter takedown but Timmon sprawls and moves away. Timmon throws a good cross that connects.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A combination from Timmon does no damage. Timmon has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Good exchange - Timmon coming out on top. No joy there for Timmon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Timmon prevents Loco from breaking the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Loco tries to pull guard but Timmon holds him up against the cage and eventually Loco drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Timmon stalling the fight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Timmon. Mono Loco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Loco misses with a shot to the kidneys.
And that's the end of the fight! Braylin Timmon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Timmon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
