Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Bogovski (ranked 4517 p4p, 2987 weight class) and Alex Treme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Treme!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Treme changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bogovski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bogovski throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Treme closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bogovski quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Treme avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bogovski.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bogovski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Treme can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bogovski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Treme's guard.

Treme dives in and grabs Bogovski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bogovski pushes down on Treme's head and hops out.

Bogovski lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Treme or not.

Bogovski has his foot on Treme's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Treme works his way back into a safe position though.

Treme must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Treme is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Treme takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Treme fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bogovski sprawls well initially but Treme persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Treme tries to throw a body punch but Bogovski avoids it by throwing Treme back against the cage.

Boris Bogovski showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bogovski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Boris Bogovski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
