PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sirus Hughes (ranked 2390 p4p, 3387 weight class) and Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 0 p4p, 202 weight class). Hughes comes to the cage accompanied by Devil "Shinedown". The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruddo Ryokale!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryokale pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hughes drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ryokale throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Ryokale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hughes looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ryokale is nestled in close to Hughes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hughes has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Ryokale. Oh but Hughes has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Ryokale goes limp - he's gone! Hughes jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
