Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ellis Leeuman (ranked 2700 p4p, 6377 weight class) and Lathem McGuire (ranked 384 p4p, 689 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Leeuman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

McGuire has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

I was talking to Leeuman's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
McGuire tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Leeuman moves in looking to clinch but McGuire pushes him off.

Leeuman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Lathem McGuire showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
