Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moshe Weiss (ranked 2307 p4p, 2814 weight class) and Alexander Leko (ranked 292 p4p, 346 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Moshe Weiss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexander Leko!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leko has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Weiss finds it's way round the side to connect with Leko's head.
Leko throws a right hand that Weiss ducks under and follows up with a left that Weiss also avoids with ease.
Weiss half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Leko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Alexander Leko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Weiss counters with a shoot takedown. Leko fights it but they end up in guard.
Weiss tries to free his leg and advance position but Leko is retaining full guard.

Weiss working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Weiss feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lekos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Weiss stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Weiss wants it to stay on the feet.

Leko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Weiss with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Alexander Leko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Weiss fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Leko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Weiss sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leko somewhat.
Leko has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Weiss has his feet on Leko's thighs here. He's pushed Leko off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Leko screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Moshe Weiss rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
