Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Abner (ranked 25 p4p, 152 weight class) and Clarence Hoost (ranked 5 p4p, 29 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beau Abner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clarence Hoost!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost throws a sloppy head kick
and Abner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Clarence Hoost has been cut.
The fighters circling - Hoost throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Abner drops Hoost with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hoost looks back up at him and smiles so Abner waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hoost is rocked!
Abner avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Abner misses with a body shot.
Hoost throws the left hand but Abner avoids the punch easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A jab from Abner finds it's way through Hoost's defenses.
That has opened up Clarence Hoost's cut even more.
Abner blocks the body kick.
Abner is looking to counter punch.
Abner lands a jab.
Hoost lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Beau Abner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoost is looking to score with low kicks.
Abner swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hoost uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Abner.
Hoost only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Hoost avoids the body shot from Abner.
Abner cracks Hoost with a good jab.
The cut above Clarence Hoost's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hoost avoids the body shot from Abner.
It seemed like Hoost was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Abner.
Nice uppercut there from Abner.
Clarence Hoost's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Abner jabs Hoost right on the nose. Hoost blinks but takes it well.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Clarence Hoost's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Beau Abner!
