Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwetty with a hook.
Schwetty jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Pike Merry has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Schwetty. Beautiful body shot.
Merry moves forwards but Schwetty connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Schwetty connects with a looping right hand.

Merry has closed the distance and engaged Schwetty in a clinch.
Schwetty lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Merry.
Merry working Schwetty over with knees to the body.
Schwetty definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Schwetty lands a hook to the side of the head.
Merry is trying to pull guard but Schwetty turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Merry tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Schwetty smiles and moves away.
Pike Merry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Schwetty rushes Merry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Schwetty lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Schwetty lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Merry backwards.
Merry looks winded!
Schwetty lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Schwetty is working Merry over against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Schwetty as the two fighters clinch.

Schwetty scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Merry takes a shot to the head.
Schwetty pushes Merry back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Merry's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Schwetty digs a right hand underneath Merry's ribcage. Merry let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Schwetty works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Schwetty lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Merry is rocked!
Schwetty lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Merry is still on wobbly legs! Can Schwetty finish him?
Merry takes a shot to the head.
Schwetty works on Merry's body with a couple of short punches.
Schwetty lands an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schwetty lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Schwetty.
Schwetty dips a shoulder and cracks Merry with a mighty uppercut! Merry falls back against the cage and Schwetty unloads with a barrage of strikes! Merry is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Schwetty screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Pete Schwetty looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'id like to thank the guy who thought of yoga pants, and id like to say the person who decided they needed to be available in size xl or above you suck!'.
