Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perry might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to goldberg theme. Slater comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Terminator Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Slater! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater circles away from the clinch attempt.
Slater swats away the attempt to clinch by Perry. Perry doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Perry avoids the body shot from Slater.
Slater misses with a wild combination.
Slater missing with a left hand there. Perry was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Slater lands with an overhand left. Slater drops Perry with a nice combination! Slater dives into Perry's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like William Perry has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slater thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Perry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Perry is looking for a triangle but Slater pushes his legs off easily.
Slater got a little sloppy there for a moment and Perry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slater has managed to get both his arms back between Perry's legs - danger averted. Slater tries to free his leg and advance position but Perry is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slater is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Slater is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Perry is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Perry has escaped and now he's on top! Slater looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Slater wants to stand and escape but Perry is having none of it. Perry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slater dives on top into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Perry is on top in guard.
Perry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slater swivels though and keeps the full guard. Perry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Slater is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Slater has escaped and now he's on top! Slater drops back looking for a leg! Perry is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Perry manages to kick Slater off! Slater jumps back into Perry's guard.

Slater avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Slater passes into half guard. Perry looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Slater is working for a submission of some sort.
Slater passes to full mount!
That's five minutes gone in the round. Slater wants to finish this one by submission but Perry is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Slater. Perry is trying desperately to improve position. Slater has isolated one of Perry's arms. Perry looking to fight him off but Slater twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
