Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kil Bon Hwa (ranked 2391 p4p, 2552 weight class) and Rob Van (ranked 311 p4p, 332 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van throws a poor cross that misses
and Bon Hwa counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Van keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bon Hwa.
Bon Hwa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bon Hwa seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bon Hwa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Van wants to clinch but Bon Hwa slips to the side
and Bon Hwa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bon Hwa connects with a nice looking jab.

Van drives through and clinches with Bon Hwa against the cage.
Bon Hwa digs a right hand underneath Van's ribcage. Van let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Bon Hwa blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bon Hwa breaks the clinch.
Van connects with a right hand. Bon Hwa shakes it off.
Van misses with a shot to the body
and Bon Hwa counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bon Hwa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Van.
Rob Van seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Van tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bon Hwa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Van has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bon Hwa lands with a hook. Van tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bon Hwa throws an uppercut from hell that sends Van clean off his feet! He's out cold! Bon Hwa stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
