The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acker catches Munhoz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Munhoz fails with the takedown
and Acker counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Munhoz closes the distance and clinches up with Acker, looking for a takedown. Munhoz pushes Acker against the cage but Acker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Acker let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Munhoz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Acker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Munhoz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Munhoz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Acker's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
