Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Kyshenko (ranked 5763 p4p, 23093 weight class) and Ingolf Ulfriksson (ranked 627 p4p, 760 weight class). Ulfriksson has chosen Hvem Er Hun as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raul Kyshenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ingolf Ulfriksson! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ulfriksson misses the jab. Ulfriksson stuffs the takedown. Nice jab there from Ulfriksson.
It looks like Raul Kyshenko has been cut. Kyshenko throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ulfriksson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kyshenko is in Ulfriksson's guard. Ulfriksson wants to stand up but Kyshenko is controlling him. Ulfriksson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Kyshenko stops Ulfriksson from standing up. Ulfriksson keeping moving, preventing Kyshenko from controlling successfully. Kyshenko showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kyshenko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kyshenko is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at FIGHT FOUNDERS (CA) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ulfriksson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kyshenko controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ulfriksson wants to stand and escape but Kyshenko is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ulfriksson stuffs the takedown. Ulfriksson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kyshenko. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raul Kyshenko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ulfriksson throws a series of punches but Kyshenko avoids them all with ease. Ingolf Ulfriksson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kyshenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ulfriksson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ulfriksson wants to stand and escape but Kyshenko is having none of it. Kyshenko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ulfriksson's guard. Kyshenko wants to control but Ulfriksson is keeping him busy. Kyshenko not doing much here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyshenko slows the pace down in half guard. Ulfriksson is kicking away at Kyshenko from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Kyshenko grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Ulfriksson trying to push Kyshenko off... Ulfriksson taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Raul Kyshenko! After the fight, Raul Kyshenko was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
