Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Chestner (ranked 1026 p4p, 1760 weight class) and Marcellus Legionarius (ranked 138 p4p, 237 weight class). Chestner comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Bruiser. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legionarius throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chestner on the side of the head.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Legionarius lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Legionarius throws a front kick aimed at Chestner's knee but Chestner avoids it well.

No joy there for Legionarius, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chestner throws a series of strikes that have Legionarius backpedaling.

The cut above Marcellus Legionarius's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Chestner is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Legionarius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Chestner waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Legionarius. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Legionarius to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Legionarius scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Legionarius lands a right hook to the body.

Legionarius tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A punch lands to the side of Chestner 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Legionarius throws a leg kick but Chestner checks it.
Chestner wants to clinch.
Legionarius is looking for the big counter here.

Chestner moves into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chestner tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Chestner goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A body shot lands from Chestner.
A head punch on the inside from Chestner fails to land.
Legionarius lands a left hand that snaps the head of Chestner backwards.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chestner creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Legionarius is trying to break free.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chestner struggles to land a body shot inside as Legionarius controls his hands.

Chestner keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Legionarius's efforts to push away.
Still in the clinch, Chestner scores with a nice short uppercut.

Legionarius escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Marcellus Legionarius's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Chestner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Legionarius can do to turn this around?

Brad Chestner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
