The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battleby missing with a left hand there. Fujimaro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Ulysses Battleby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Battleby tries to close the distance and clinch but Fujimaro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fujimaro looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Battleby is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fujimaro had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Fujimaro drops Battleby with a huge uppercut! Battleby drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Fujimaro is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
