Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Syd Rummel (ranked 2138 p4p, 2407 weight class) and Hueng Son (ranked 67 p4p, 79 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Son throws a hook but Rummel avoids it easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Rummel misses its target.
Rummel swings for the body but Son moves out of range.
Son buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A jab from Rummel misses.
Rummel tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rummel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Son. Rummel does a little dance to reset his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Son enables Rummel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Son manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Oh Rummel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rummel walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Son swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
