And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brenon Conors!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis darts in looking for a takedown but Conors gets double underhooks and turns Davis into the cage.
Conors with the counter takedown but Davis avoids it easily.
Conors takes an elbow to the temple.
Conors swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Davis looking to throw knees to the head but Conors is blocking nicely.
Conors misses with a hook from the clinch.
Conors throws a punch but it's blocked by Davis.
Davis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conors misses with some punches.
Davis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Davis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Conors is defending well.

Davis manages to break the clinch.
Conors fails with a takedown attempt.
Conors shoots in but no luck this time.
Davis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaqir Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Davis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Davis trying to control the position but Conors is working away.

Conors looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Conors defends it well.

Davis is stalling here. Conors is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Davis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Conors has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
