Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Earth Quake (ranked 2011 p4p, 4709 weight class) and Arthur Pugsley (ranked 222 p4p, 427 weight class). The key to victory for Earth Quake has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earth Quake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Pugsley! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pugsley shoots in for a takedown but Quake shows good takedown defense. Pugsley is looking to clinch. Pugsley tries to clinch up and Quake counters with a left to the body. Quake cracks a nice hook into Pugsley's ribs. Quake definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pugsley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quake pinned against the cage. Quake gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pugsley on the wrong end of a nice hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quake lands a nice looking body shot.
Quake scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pugsley doesn't seem bothered though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pugsley takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Arthur Pugsley has been cut. Pugsley darts in and clinches Quake up against the cage. Quake scores with a shot to the side of Pugsley's head. Quake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Quake misses with a body shot.
Pugsley doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Quake counter with a right hand. Earth Quake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Pugsley. Pugsley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pugsley has closed the distance and engaged Quake in a clinch.
Quake lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Quake working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quake creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Quake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Quake tests Pugsley's chin there with a solid looking shot. Quake lands a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pugsley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Quake napping and manages to drive through into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quake is being controlled here. Quake on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Quake tries to get out of the position. Let's hope that Pugsley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pugsley tries to advance to mount but can't. Pugsley moves into full mount! Pugsley controlling the pace for now. Pugsley landing strikes, looking to finish! Pugsley looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pugsley wants to take Quake's back but he can't do it this time. Pugsley controlling from mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Earth Quake dominated that round. The cut man is working on Arthur Pugsley's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pugsley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Quake softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Pugsley is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A short right from Quake. Quake works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Quake lands an uppercut. Pugsley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Quake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Quake tries to keep at a distance but Pugsley has taken the fight into the clinch. Pugsley stalling in the clinch but Quake improves position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quake presses Pugsley against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Pugsley is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Pugsley is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Quake lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right hand to the body from Quake.
Pugsley turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pugsley manages to end up in side control. Pugsley trying to control the action but Quake is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Quake's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pugsley taking a breather here. Quake can't do much from the bottom here. Pugsley advances nicely into full mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Quake can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pugsley looking to finish with strikes here!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Arthur Pugsley will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Arthur Pugsley's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Pugsley is looking to control Quake's arms but Quake gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pugsley has his back to the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Quake. Quake is trying to break free. A shot in the inside from Quake. Quake is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pugsley can do to turn this around? Quake is working Pugsley over against the cage. Pugsley wants the takedown. Quake is fighting it off but Pugsley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Quake's guard against the cage. Pugsley postures up.
Arthur Pugsley has got the better of the ground game so far. Pugsley controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quake looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pugsley is pushing down on Quake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Quake is fighting to maintain full guard but Pugsley has managed to sneak the leg through. Pugsley is taking a breather. Quake says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Pugsley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pugsley misses with a takedown attempt and Quake counters with a stiff right hand. Pugsley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pugsley tries to move to mount but Quake blocks the move with his legs. A lull in the action here as Pugsley stalls from top position. More stalling from Pugsley. Pugsley with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pugsley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Quake is looking to reverse the position. Pugsley controls the position from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Arthur Pugsley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pugsley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
