Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaarlo Susi!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Susi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Susi staying out of range there.
A little jabbing left from Susi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lee wants to clinch
and Susi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Jeff Lee has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Susi lands a big right hand that sends Lee crashing to the mat! Susi stays standing though and waves Lee back to his feet!
Lee scores with a jab to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A decent looking cross lands there for Susi.
Susi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lee tries for a takedown but Susi circles away easily
and Susi counters with a nice right hand that sends Lee toppling to the canvas! Lee scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Susi finish him?!
Lee is rocked!
Susi lands a brutal uppercut that launches Lee off his feet! Lee tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaarlo Susi!
