Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Forrest (ranked 2912 p4p, 4195 weight class) and Zachary Neer Neer (ranked 339 p4p, 461 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Forrest might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stanky Leg. Neer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Back In Black. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Forrest sprawls well initially but Neer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neer is controlling the pace.
Neer wants to get back to his feet.
Ground and pound from Neer.
Forrest is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Forrest wants to get back to full guard but Neer has passed into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Forrest tries to bench press Neer off him but Neer keeps the position.
Neer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Forrest, who protects the arm well.
Forrest is looking for a sweep.

Neer in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Forrest is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
