Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Wilson (ranked 4558 p4p, 4551 weight class) and Nuno Castelo (ranked 0 p4p, 567 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steve Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nuno Castelo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson connects with a right hand. Castelo shakes it off. Wilson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Castelo takes the fight into the clinch. Castelo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wilson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Castelo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wilson uses from the top position. Castelo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Castelo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wilson tries to free his leg and advance position but Castelo is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Castelo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wilson's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castelo drops back looking for a leg! Wilson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wilson manages to kick Castelo off! Castelo jumps back into Wilson's guard. Castelo stops Wilson from standing up. Wilson wants to sweep but no luck. Wilson keeping moving, preventing Castelo from controlling successfully. Wilson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Castelo has passed into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wilson is looking for a sweep. Wilson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Castelo on the ground. Wilson is not content to let Castelo control the position. Castelo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wilson, who protects the arm well. Wilson looks to move to half guard but instead Castelo has passed into mount! Damn! Wilson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castelo throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Wilson is squirming around, avoiding Castelo's attempts to control the action. Wilson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Wilson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson is working hard here to advance position. Wilson tries to hold on but Castelo pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson is trying desperately to improve position. Castelo thowing shots but they're missing. Wilson is trying to stand. Castelo landing strikes from the mount. Castelo trying to control but Wilson is having none of it. Wilson is working to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Castelo looking to control but Wilson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Castelo is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Wilson engages and cracks Castelo with a massive lead left hook - Castelo tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Wilson is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
