Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grey Ape (ranked 519 p4p, 643 weight class) and Welter Weight (ranked 67 p4p, 76 weight class). Weight is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: They say that I'm Crazy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weight takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Weight has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Weight cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Grey Ape has been cut.
Ape tries to land a body kick
and Weight counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ape thinking.
Weight has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ape finds it's way round the side to connect with Weight's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ape feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Weights jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ape lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Weight has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Weight and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ape is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Weight can do to turn this around?
